Project Find for Washtenaw County
Early Childhood Programs

Introduction

Project Find provides information about special education programs and services and helps arrange a free educational evaluation to assist in locating a program for anyone eligible from birth to 26 years of age. Project Find exists to make sure that individuals with special needs receive the best possible education.

What Does Project Find do for Children?

All children develop at different rates. But if your child does not respond well to sight or sound, or if your child has difficulty getting along with others, or is having difficulties in school, there may be a concern. With the State Board of Education's Project Find, your child can be referred for a free evaluation. After the evaluation results are available, Project Find will help you locate the necessary educational services.
