WISD in collaboration with local districts provides administrative support to special education students, their families and staff.
The role of the special education administrator is to supervise, coordinate and support special education programs and services. They are responsible for program planning and direction, staff and student support, implementation special education rules, allocation of resources, communication with parents and family, curriculum development and student achievement.
