On behalf of local school districts, WISD operates transitional classes and educational services for post high school student who are unable to graduate from high school due to the severity of their disability. The goal of the service is to help students learn to live, work and participate in recreation in their community with as much independence as possible. To that end, the services and meeting sites are located though out the county to make them as close to the student's homes as possible.
